The Olympic Residence is a striking mixed use development featuring 135 luxury apartments and penthouses, and three floors of retail units.
The Olympic will be a unique condominium complex, bringing an exciting, modern and international flair to the city. This innovative architectural vision combined with the serenity of the embassy district makes these apartments an unbeatable investment.
Standing 18 stories tall, this stunning development overlooks the Boghd Khan mountain range to one side, and the beautiful Sukhbaatar Square to another. A Scandinavian influenced architectural design, the new Olympic Residence boasts clean lines and efficient use of space, with views surpassing any development in the city.
Location
The location of the Olympic Residence is arguably one of the best in Ulaanbaatar, sandwiched between the two major hotels (the Hilton Hotel and the Shangri La Hotel) while remaining in the heart of the Embassy district and overlooking the Central Park of Ulaanbaatar.
Whether your playground is the mountains or the city, you'll appreciate being nestled in between the best parts of both, with stunning views from every window. Situated between the city and the Tuul River running beneath the Boghd Khan mountains, the Olympic is surrounded by spectacular vistas and yet close enough to the heart of the hustle and bustle of the city.
Directly around the Olympic building will be lawns, flowers and trees, creating an urban Eden. When the winter draws in, you will not have far to go in the cold to get to the city centre, and you won't even have to leave the building when you want a restaurant meal, hot cup of coffee, or some retail therapy. If for some reason you want to leave your comfortable cocoon, the underground parking means you won't even have to de-ice your windscreen!
Materials
The Olympic Residence will feature the finest materials from all over the world. The materials used in construction and subsequent furnishing will be of the highest standard and quality.
The building itself is made of reinforced concrete, which is chemically treated to resist the harshest of temperatures. Each apartment can also feature woods from Africa, tiles from Spain and Italy, furniture from Indonesia and North America and fabrics from India and China.
The Architects
Mongolian Properties has selected Pöyry Architects (formerly EVATA Architects) and Ideal Group, two leading architectural design firms, to design and build the Olympic Residence.
Established in 1961, Pöyry's designs integrate commercial, urban, technical, design and sustainability perspectives with the local community to develop strong architectural concepts. Based in Finland and working on projects all over the world, they are one of Europe's leading architectural and consulting groups.
The Ideal Group is a member of the union of Mongolian architects and routinely cooperates with other foreign conceptual and architectural design firms worldwide.

The building will feature a grand lobby, landscaped pedestrian plaza with real estate, securities, and banking facilities on the ground floor, and a residence center complete with a retail shopping galleria, entertainment venues, children's activity park, and restaurants on the second and third floor.
